SOUTHBURY — Through May 15, paintings by the Bethlehem-based artist Liz May are being exhibited at Koenig Art Emporium, in Southbury Plaza.

“Color play and stroke patterns are the main focuses in my artwork,” Ms May wrote for a recent artist’s statement. “I see vibrant colors even on the cloudiest of days. My eyes view each scene, but my mind creates what I wish I would see. A vision which brings me into a world of excitement and dreamy places.”
