Dominic “Nick” Musto

Dominic “Nick” F. Musto, 90, of Fairfield, husband of the late Lucy Theresa (Agriesto) Musto, died May 4 in the Connecticut Hospice, Branford, following a long illness.

He is survived by his devoted daughter, Arlene Williams, and grandsons, David and Jason Williams, all of Newtown.

Born in Derby on April 14, 1910, he was the son of the late Frank and Carmella (Palverri) Musto. Mr Musto was the chef of the former Tokay’s Restaurant of Fairfield. Following retirement, he continued his love of cooking in several area cafes until the time of his illness. Mr Musto also worked for many years in the Underwood Typewriter Company of Bridgeport. He was an avid billiards player and an active member of the Park City Billiards League and a former member of the Masonic Temple.

He is also survived by a sister, Sue Duca of Derby; and several nieces and nephews. Mr Musto was predeceased by sisters Lucy DeGenaro, Frances Griffin, and Mary Tiano.

Funeral services were May 8 from the Spadaccino Funeral Home, 499 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, to a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Interment followed in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
