Florence Coddington

Florence M. Coddington, 87, of Dusty Lane, Newtown, died April 30 in Danbury Hospital.

She was born in Newtown April 26, 1913, daughter of the late Starr and Augusta (Bedat) Wildman. She was a lifelong resident of Newtown. She was last employed at the Bryant Electric Co in Bridgeport.

She is survived by a son, Clinton Coddington of Waterbury; a brother, Donald Wildman; two sisters, Ida Peterson of Bridgeport and Jean Barna of Southbury; and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, May 2 with the Rev Terry Pfeiffer officiating. Interment was in Zoar Cemetery.
