Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to 36 calls during the period April 22-28.
There were 17 medical calls: 5 respiratory, 3 cardiac, 2 stroke related, 1 other seizure, and 6 miscellaneous medical.
There were 13 trauma calls: 8 vehicular and 5 non-vehicular. There also were 6 standby/other calls.
Twenty-six persons were transported to the hospital; 10 were not transported.
Ages: Infants to age 8, 2; ages 9-12, 4; 22-60, 15; over 60, 15.
Nineteen were males; 17 females.
Three calls were between the hours of midnight and 8 am; 23 calls between 8 am and 4 pm; 10 calls between 4 pm and midnight.
