Marian L. Treble

Marian L. Treble, 101, wife of the late Arthur L. Treble, of 8 Knollwood Drive, Newtown, died May 2 in her home.

She was born in London, England, July 15, 1898, daughter of the late Albert and Emily (Hale) Lock. She had been a resident of Newtown the past 45 years. At one time she was employed by the Frederick Warren Publishing Company in New York City.

She is survived by one daughter, Joan Treble of New York City; and one niece, Cecily Judd of Sullivan, Me.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 5, at 1 pm in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, with the Rev Kathleen Adams-Shepherd officiating. Interment will take place in Newtown Village Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
