Family-Style Concert Saturday Afternoon

RIDGEFIELD — Bring the family, your blankets and chairs for The Ridgefield Playhouse’s feature performance by an award-winning singer for kids on Saturday, May 6, starting at 4:30 pm. The concert is free and will run about an hour.

John Farrell, an artist and teacher, has performed throughout the United States and abroad, in concert halls and schools. He sometimes performs with his five children and wife, Ann Marie, who teaches at The Wooster School in Danbury.

The Ridgefield Playhouse will open its doors at 3:30 pm on May 6, rain or shine.

Families are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to make themselves comfortable during the performance. Refreshments will be available and donations are welcome.

Ridgefield Playhouse is in the municipal complex on East Ridge Road. Enter either from Prospect Street or Governor Street and follow signs to the playhouse entrance. Parking is on the premises. For more information, contact Andrea Jabara at 203/438-6635.
