Youth Baseball Opening Day Is A Hit

Newtown Youth Baseball had a successful opening day Fan Fest celebration at Glander Fields on April 23 with 250 Newtown baseball players and their families. The Newtown High School varsity baseball team came and helped run baseball activities for all of the children 8 and under, while the 9 to 12-year-olds ran through various baseball skill competitions including Home Run Derby, Around the Horn, and Fastest Pitch.

Bryce and Chase Pacuk were winners of the 10U and 7U Fastest Pitch Competition.
Zach Milkovic was the 10U Home Run Derby winner.
