The girls/boys combined team placed third at the meet which was held at Harvard University’s Blodgett Pool. The eight-and-under team, which includes Newtown’s Dawson Stout, 9, and Tommy Horan, 8, were key performers in the win. Stout placed first out of 24 qualifiers in the 25 yard butterfly event and anchored the winning medley relay. Stout also contributed to the boys’ free relay victory and placed 8th in the 100 IM.
