The Mideast

To the Editor:

This is in regard to President Bush okaying the sale of nuclear technology, and fuels. to the United Arab Emirates.

I don’t understand, really I don’t.

 I thought we would want to keep any tech and nuclear materials out of the Mideast. Now President Bush has okayed its sale to them.

How are you to guarantee that some member of the UAE won’t go and sell it to the folks trying to kick us out in the first place? What happens when someone pushes that button and all of our military is destroyed.

But I’m sure you won’t worry, we have more kids at home to send over there, am I right?.

Maybe they (Mideastern countries) can’t create a missile-based delivery system, or a true nuke, but a couple ounces of vaporized plutonium or uranium will sure ruin a lot of people’s day.

Mr Bush, as a citizen of this country, I voted for you. But after the fact, I, and a lot of other people discovered that you ran on a platform of lies.

It’s no wonder people from other countries are asking what the hell we’re doing. They want to know if we’re all crazy, or to say the least stupid.

I ask, no demand, that you step down from the presidency immediately. Under your so-called leadership this country has descended to third world status.

It’s time to leave Mr President. This country has had enough of you and your buddies. You’ve successfully bled the American People of their incomes, their livelihoods, and the lives of their children. What more do you want??

The people of this country had better wake up soon. Four more years of our present style of leadership will doom us all.

This is not a rant. I can tolerate only so much stupidity before I snap. Believe me I’m a very tolerant person.
