Horse Ownership Class At Post
WATERBURY â The next Equine Husbandry evening course in the Horse Ownership series will start on Monday, May 5 and runs until June 30 (6:30 to 9:20 pm) in the Drubner Center at Post University (exit 17 off I-84).
This course is very important for anyone buying a horse as it will cover many important topics ranging from the responsibilities of ownership, housing requirements including town and zoning regulations, the legal aspects of contracts. The classes will also cover the many aspects of finding a suitable horse, how to get it home, care throughout the year and discussions on further training or lessons. In will cover many of the things prospective horse owners need to know before buying a horse.
Classes may be taken in any order and are open to anyone interested â no prerequisites are required. Each course will run for eight weeks, one evening per week for three hours, and there are six sections in all. Students can earn CEU credits for $500 per class, or take the courses for personal enrichment which costs $350.
