Summer Music Enrichment Program

DANBURY — Enrollment for Danbury Music Centre’s Summer Enrichment Program has begun.

This year, the Danbury Music Centre will offer Summer Strings with Larry Deming, Alison Breisler, and Judy Smith; Summer Bands with Albert Montecalvo; Summer Chorus with Jonathan Popel; and new this year, Afrikan Drumming with Ase-AmenRa Kariamu.

Call the music centre, 748-1716, for a brochure which lists age and experience qualifications for all programs.

Afrikan Drumming is the only class with limited enrollment and early registration is suggested for that class.

All classes take place in July and August and culminate with a public performance in August.

Tuition is very low, with grants and funding available from the Perrin Family Foundation, the City of Danbury, and the Mills-Tannenbaum Family. Financial assistance is also available.
