Biggest Change Seen in Town: When I moved in, all the little fields up Castle Hill had cows and corn. Now there are houses. All the pasture land is now being developed. Also, the traffic on Route 25 is not getting any better. There have also been changes in industry, and we need more of it.
Family: My wife Arlene and I have been married for 14 years. I have one adult child, Toby.
Pets: We have a 21-year-old cat named Samantha. Â Â
Hobbies: Working with wood. Iâve made some furniture, such as bookcases and tables. I keep myself active being creative. I also enjoy photography.
Favorite Books and Authors: Iâll read anything. I like all types of fiction, particularly books by Tom Clancy and Robert Crichton.
Â
Favorite TV Show: CSI, Monk, and the Discovery, History, National Georgraphic, and Learning channels.
Organizations: I am a member of the board for the Newtown Chamber of Commerce, president of the board of directors for Newtown Housing for the Elderly that helps administer Nunnawauk Meadows, and very active in the Hawleyville Fire Department as the first engineer.
Most Vivid Memory About Newtown: I just enjoy the whole town, the Labor Day parade, and all the activities around town.
Favorite Vacation Spot: Weâve done a lot of bed and breakfast tours, such as in northeast Connecticut, especially those with resident cats. We spent a week at a bed and breakfast and went antiquing.
Personal Philosophy: Live one day at a time, and just make sure youâre covered for the future.
