Flower Sale To Benefit Pups
Without Partners
Pups Without Partners greyhound adoption program will conduct a Motherâs Day flower sale and meet and greet at Pet Connection 228 South Main Street, Newtown.
Greyhounds will be on hand top meet the public and volunteers to answer questions. The Motherâs Day flower sale fundraiser will help defray the cost of caring for the dogs until adoptive homes can be found.
Pups Without Partners will be placing greyhounds retired from the Shoreline Star Greyhound Park in Bridgeport. âWe are gearing up for a busy season,â said Penny Zwart, adoption coordinator
Pups without Partners has a 100 percent adoption rate and any greyhound leaving the program for a new home will have had a complete medical exam, be spayed or neutered, as well as have had its teeth cleaned, vaccinations updated, and be heartworm negative.
There is a fee to adopt and an application process that must be completed prior to adoption. All are invited to stop by and meet the greyhounds and buy some flowers for mom or someone special.
