On Bridge Project

Plans to replace a small bridge on South Main Street, which crosses over Cold Spring Brook, will be the subject of a public information meeting sponsored by the state Department of Transportation (DOT).

The session is scheduled for 7 pm on Wednesday, May 14, at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street.

The bridge that DOT plans to replace crosses above Cold Spring Brook near Newtown Manufacturing Co, Inc, at 255 South Main Street. The short span is on the section of South Main Street lying between Newtown Manufacturing and Sand Hill Plaza. The bridge is approximately 30 feet long.

The DOT urges residents, commuters, business owners, and others to attend the session to discuss the improvement project. A copy of the planned improvement work is on file at the town clerk’s office in Edmond Town Hall.
