Choral Society Chamber Singers Promise A Calming Concert
SOUTH BRITAIN â On Friday, May 9, The Connecticut Choral Society Chamber Singers, conducted by Bonnie Stephens, will present an all a cappella program of spirited madrigals, folk songs, spirituals, and ballads.
The evening promises to offer a much needed opportunity for lighthearted entertainment following recent world events and long, stressful winter months.
The program, which will begin at 7:30 pm, will be held in the sanctuary of South Britain Congregational Church. The church is on Route 172, one mile north of I-84 off Exit 14.
The church, which has been home base for The Connecticut Choral Society for the past ten years, is suggesting a $5 per person donation to benefit church programs.
