Raise Money By Selling Real Estate   

To the Editor,

Added to the wonderful suggestions made by Legislative Council members to reduce the budget for the next fiscal year, we might further reduce the tax increase to four percent by selling the houses purchased on Queen Street as well as the unsuitable Amaral property. This would raise $1.5 million.  In addition, we could then believe that our elected representatives have a true commitment to keeping costs under control as well as keeping to their collective word.
