Flagpole Traffic Light Needed

To the Editor,

I had the opportunity to sit at the Meeting House by the flagpole today for 15 minutes. I had to write this letter. We desperately need a light at the flagpole.

I still feel badly about the gentleman who was hit by a car and killed crossing by the town hall and as a town we put up barrels at the crossroads afterwards!

Please let’s not wait until someone dies at the flagpole to realize there is a problem and do something afterwards.

Please if you agree, talk to the first selectman, acting police chief, or write a letter to the editor.

Please if you disagree sit at the intersection for a period of time when there is traffic before you make up your mind.
