‘Zoom In’ To Byrd’s Books And Connecticut Author Martha Hall Kelly
BETHEL— Though Bethel’s Byrd’s Books is currently closed to browsing, on Monday, May 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, supporters are invited to join owner Alice Hutchinson and Connecticut author Martha Hall Kelly for a Zoom In book discussion of Lost Roses, the sequel to The New York Times’ bestseller’s premier novel, Lilac Girls. In March, Bird’s Books hosted the author at the Bethel Public Library to talk about Lost Roses and is excited to welcome her back for the first of many Zoom In opportunities to add to be added to the independent book shop’s calendar of events.
The store still has signed copies of Lost Roses available for purchase before May 4. Registration is required to join the discussion. To purchase your copy and to save a spot to participate, go to https://conta.cc/3bC2heh. You will be sent an access code two days before the gathering. If you have questions about joining a Zoom call, call the bookstore at 203-730-BYRD (2973) for assistance.
Byrd’s Books is currently available by phone on Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 am to 4 pm, to answer questions and suggest the latest books to read.
