New Heights Baptist Church Moving To Its Permanent Home
New Heights Baptist Church will begin meeting in its permanent location this weekend.
The recently planted church, which opened just a few weeks ago with a Launch Service, has been meeting in a storefront in Plaza South.
Pastor Zach Kinsman told The Newtown Bee earlier this spring that was just a temporary location, however. The plan was always to have services for just a few weeks on South Main Street before relocating to Newtown Meeting House, at 31 Main Street.
That is exactly what will happen this weekend, when New Heights celebrates its Sunday, May 1, services at the historic building to the west of Newtown’s flagpole.
Weekly services are at 11 am and 1 pm, as well as 7 pm each Wednesday.
Nursery care for children up to age 5 is available each weekend.
The new worship community has a mission to reach the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to establish a healthy, New Testament Church.
