Newtown High School Athletic Director Matt Memoli announced on April 23 that the school’s spectator policy is changing, effective Saturday, May 1.

The athletics program will allow all fans to attend outdoor events as long as they are wearing a mask and are socially distant from any non-family members. For the indoor sport of boys’ volleyball, Newtown fans will be allowed, but visiting fans will not be permitted.

The NHS boys’ lacrosse team will host Masuk of Monroe Saturday, May 1, at 2 pm.
