Seymour Museum Will Be Open Sunday
SEYMOUR â The Seymour Historical Society Museum will be open on Sunday, May 2, from 1 to 4 pm, when many items of interest pertaining to the history of Seymour will be on display.
Objects will include pharmaceutical supplies from Foley Drug Store, tools from James Swan Company, military uniforms and artifacts dating back to the Civil War, a room devoted entirely to the men and women from Seymour who served in World War II, Vietnam and Korea, and many items from Seymour Trust Company.
Political buttons on the local, state and federal levels, as well as advertisement from local merchants, are also on display.
The museum is at 59 West Street. Admission is free.
