Karen Michel Joins Curtiss & Crandon

Curtiss & Crandon Realtors has welcomed Karen Michel to its team. Ms Michel, an award-winning agent, is looking forward to maintaining her repeat clients and referral business that she has built over the course of her real estate career. She attributes her success to her high energy level and ability to be a good listener. She considers her clients to be her “top priority.”

Prior to embarking on her real estate career, Ms Michel was in education where she held various positions: administrator for special education, school psychologist, and teacher with the New York City Board of Education.

Originally from Westchester County, N.Y., Ms Michel, her husband Roger Michel, a consultant, and their son Jamie moved to Newtown in 1999. After graduating from Sacred Heart University, Jamie Michel followed his patriotic spirit and is currently serving in the Army. For relaxation, the Michels enjoy boating on Candlewood Lake.
