WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Phillips Collection will present a roundtable discussion, “Looking Back, Looking Forward,” on Thursday, May 29, at 6:30 pm.

Attendees can reflect on African American artists of the Twentieth Century and look ahead to artists in the new millennium with Dr David C. Driskell, emeritus professor at the University of Maryland; Dr Leslie King-Hammond, dean of graduate studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art; and Dr Elizabeth Hutton Turner, vice provost for the arts at the University of Virginia and former Phillips senior curator. The event is co-sponsored with the Millennium Arts Salon.
