Spring Show By KAA Opens On May 6
KENT â The Gallery at The Kent Art Association, 21 South Main Street (Route 7) in Kent, will be home to more than 100 paintings and sculpture that will make up the 2005 KAA Spring Art Show and Sale, which runs from Friday, May 6, until Sunday June 5.
On display will be oils, watercolors, pastels, graphics as well as sculpture in various mediums. All of the works will be for sale.
Many prize-winning artists from the local areas and adjacent states will be represented in the show
Two receptions are scheduled. There will be artists who are exhibiting present at both, and the public is welcome at each.
The opening reception will be on Friday, May 6, from 6 to 8 pm, and the awards reception will take place Saturday, May 7, with awards given out at 3 pm. Refreshments will be served at both receptions.
Admission is free at all times, and the gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
