Barbara Joan Kimball

Barbara Joan Kimball, 64, wife of Warren Edgar Kimball of Newtown, died on April 24 at the home of her daughter, Heather, who had been her caretaker for the past several years.

Mrs Kimball was born in Bridgeport on June 25, 1941, a daughter of Emily (Maco) Seidens of Fairfield and the late Robert Seidens.

She devoted her life to her family and will be remembered by her extended family and friends as a generous and caring person, with a love for gardening. She will be sadly missed for her kindness, sense of humor, and positive attitude.

In addition to her mother and husband of 41 years, Mrs Kimball is survived by her beloved children, Heather Kimball and her fiancé, Jeffrey Brown, Edgar Kimball and his wife, Colleen, of Newtown, Robert Kimball and his wife, Heather, of Southbury, Scott Kimball and his wife, Tammy, of Southbury, and Dennis Kimball and his fiancée, Virginia Carris, of Newtown.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Emily, Dana, Luke, Kyle, Sammi, D.J., Jami and Halee; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were on April 28 at Newtown Meeting House. Interment was in Newtown Village Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street in Newtown.
