Town Historian Guest Speaker For Book Group

Dan Cruson, Newtown’s Town Historian and the author of a number of Newtown-related books, will be the guest speaker at the next Book Talk at The Meadows.

Mr Cruson’s discussion and slide presentation will be about his latest book, A Mosaic of Newtown History. His intent is to highlight several aspects of the town’s history and deal with it in greater depth.

The program will take place on Wednesday, May 10, at 1:30 pm, in the community room at Nunnawauk Meadows. BookTalk programs are held in the community building, 3 Nunnawauk Road.

Copies of A Mosaic of Newtown History will be available for purchase after Mr Cruson’s program, and he will personalize copies of the book for attendees. Copies of the book at $25, and proceeds will benefit Newtown Historical Society.
