Senior Girls Round Up 2006 Season

The Girls Senior Basketball League recently concluded with Team Solid posting a 40-36 over the Blue Bengals in the championship game and the Senior All-Stars posting a 45-35 win over the Non-Senior All-Stars. In the championship game, Amy Kelley canned 12 points and Kara Whipkey added six to lead Solid while Melissa Mason dished off 10 assists and Tyler Nicoll grabbed eight steals. For the Bengals, Jen Greenwood had 13 points as Kate Schmidt, Kelley Sullivan and Katie McNulty played well. All-Star performers included Rachel Eastman, Rose Jackman, Nicoll, Mary Ober, Melissa Mason, Emily Fields, Caitlin Hansen, Megan Rawson, Whipkey and Lauren Nemeth (all pictured, from left) as well as Kate Herwig, Casey McManus and Paula Wayar.
