Rachel ‘Rae Ann’ Fuchs

Avon Representative

Rachel “Rae Ann” Fuchs, 56, of Monroe, beloved widow of Robert W. Fuchs, died April 24 at St Vincent’s Medical Center. Mrs Fuchs was born on October 15, 1949, in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Jacqueline Snyder Riback.

Survivors include her two loving daughters, Arlene and her husband, David Bunnell, of Newtown and Lori and her husband, George Appleby, of Monroe; one cherished grandson who was the apple of her eye, David Bunnell, Jr; and several cousins.

She was an Avon representative for more than 20 years. She was also an avid bingo player for many years.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 28, at 9 am in the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Route 111, Monroe, and at 10 am in St Stephen’s Church of Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery of Newtown.

Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday, April 27, from 4 to 8 pm, in the funeral home.
