The Connecticut Authors Reading Series, spotlighting the work of authors who live and write in the Nutmeg State, will continue at C.H. Booth Library on Sunday, May 1, from 2 to 4 pm.New York Times columnist Mark Oppenheimer, poets Carol Ann Davis and David Cappella, and Linda Legters, who will return to the series with her recently published novel, Connected Underneath. The series is curated by Newtown author Sophfronia Scott.Teaching the Art of Poetry: The Moves and A Surge of Language: Teaching Poetry Day to Day.Gobbo: A Solitaire's Opera won the Bright Hill Press Poetry Chapbook Competition in 2006. His poems and essays have appeared in various literary journals and anthologies in the US and Europe.Kindling, was published by Piscataqua Press in January 2016.The Georgia Review, The American Poetry Review and Beloit Poetry Journal.Atlas Hour (Tupelo, 2011) and Psalm (Tupelo, 2007).Crazyhorse, in 2012 Ms Davis moved to Connecticut, where she teaches in the Fairfield University MFA Program in Creative Writing, edits the literary journal Dogwood, and is Associate Professor of English.Connected Underneath.
