Town & Country Plans Plant Sale

The Town & Country Garden Club of Newtown is preparing for its plant sale to be held on Saturday, May 12, from 9 am to 2 pm, at The Inn at Newtown, 19 Main Street.

Members are planting attractive spring and summer containers for sale as gifts for Mother’s Day or for any gardeners. There also will be a wide selection of flowering shrubs and bushes to choose from, and a variety of well-established member-grown perennials. Budding bags planted with annuals will also be available.

The money that is raised will go toward scholarships that will be presented to students going into environmental sciences or horticulture.
