Teikyo Post Summer Courses
WATERBURY â Take college courses in your neighborhood this summer at a variety of sites throughout Connecticut being offered by Teikyo Post University. There are a variety of schedules to meet any studentâs needs.
Students can earn six to nine or more credits this summer by signing up after the May term for classes running July 2 through August 16 at the main campus in Waterbury. (There are no classes July 4.) The seven-week classes meet Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, or online from June 29 through August 18.
Those who travel or have young children may want to consider taking classes via the Internet through TPU Online program, which offers May and June terms.
A sampling of online classes for the May and June terms includes âHuman Resources Management,â âIntroduction to Human Services,â âManagerial Communications,â âNutrition,â âBusiness Ethics,â âAfrican-American Literature,â âGender Issues in Management,â âOrganizational Behaviorâ and âInternational Investments.â
There are even more courses to choose from in the Waterbury evening and weekend programs, including âPrinciples of Finance,â âCorporate Finance,â âAlgebra,â âCollege Algebra,â âStatistics,â âIntroduction to Computing,â âMacroeconomics,â âPrinciples of Sociology,â âBusiness Law 1,â âWorld Civ 1,â and âHuman Biology.â
During the May-June term, students may take evening classes at sites in Meriden, MetroDanbury (Newtown), Trumbull and West Hartford.
Students do not have to be admitted to Teikyo Post University to take classes.
