Irish Event To Help Family

A fundraising event, An Irish Afternoon, will be held on Sunday, April 29, from 1 to 6 pm at the Sandy Hook Firehouse to benefit the family of Brian Comerford, an area firefighter who was killed in an automobile accident in February.

The event will include entertainment and Irish food. Proceeds will be used to assist Mr Comerford’s widow, Dana, and their three small children, Siobhan, 5, Brian Jr, 3, and Fiona, 1.
