DUI Charge
Police report they saw motorist James C. Connelly, 40, of Southbury swerving on Washington Avenue in Sandy Hook and driving about 10 miles per hour in a 30-mph zone about 3:30 am April 26.
Police said they stopped Connelly and gave him field sobriety tests, which he failed. Police charged Connelly with driving under the influence and driving too slowly.
After processing, police released Connelly for a May 10 appearance in Danbury Superior Court to answer the charges.
