Before Randy Eskenazi settled in nearby Brewster, N.Y., the financial advisor and his wife had looked at Newtown, “and fell in love with the town,” he said. So when the Edward Jones Investment boutique office space in Newtown became available this past summer, Mr Eskenazi relocated his White Plains, N.Y., office to 19 Church Hill Road, where he is happy to offer a broad range of financial services. After taking some time to refresh and brighten the space, Mr Eskenazi opened his doors for business in August 2013.

What makes the Edward Jones Investment brokerage stand out from other firms, he said, is the personal service. At the 19 Church Hill Road location, it is just Mr Eskenazi and branch office administrator Kimberly Lydon on site.

“We are a client-friendly, accessible place, where people can come for advice on short- or long-term financial goals,” he said. “I like to coordinate with others involved in a person’s financial life,” Mr Eskenazi said, such as CPAs, estate attorneys, or life insurance specialists. Co-coordinating provides the best solutions for those lifetime goals, he said. “I take the time to get to know and listen to my clients as they make these important decisions,” Mr Eskenazi said.

Eighteen years of experience in the financial services business means that Mr Eskenazi is well prepared to help with setting client goals, retirement and income planning, and wealth transfer.

Edward Jones Investment hours of operation are based on the clients’ needs, he said, and added, “I think we are one of few who still make house calls.”

A coach for his sons’ travel soccer teams in Brewster, Mr Eskenazi is involved locally, as well. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Newtown, and the Newtown Chamber of Commerce.
