Moving Forward

To the Editor:

An amazing 6,200 people voted on April 22. I was so impressed to see the line streaming out of the Middle School at 7:45 pm. Thank you for making the effort.

I would also like to thank all of the people who helped advocate for the budget, the high school expansion, and the senior center/community center. These important projects would not have passed without the time and effort given by the PTAs, the school community, the athletic groups in Newtown, the Newtown realtors, elected officials, and especially the voters. So many people were involved in making this happen. Now we can all move forward.
