Marilyn Jane Celon, 53, died suddenly April 20. Born January 26, 1945, she was a resident of Fairfield for 34 years.

Ms Celon is survived by her beloved daughter, Shannon Bowman, son-in-law, Derek Minardi, and beloved grandchildren, Derek, Daniel, and Carley Minardi of Monroe, that were her life. She is also survived by her sisters, Bette Sue George and husband, Gerald, of Newtown, Marjorie Lehman of Milford, Elaine Waterbury of Stratford, Susan Finlayson and husband, Craig Lamare, of Bridgeport, Cheryl Johnson and husband, David, of Stratford; her brothers, Richard Kistner of Bridgeport, and Harold Finlayson and wife, Ellen, of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Mearlyn Finlayson and father, Harold Finlayson; and two sisters, Bette Susan Finlayson (1953) and Anne Alexis Incerto (2007).

 She was a member and officer of Fairfield Elks Lodge 2220. Go Masuk Football and Masuk Wrestling!

 Funeral services will be private. A memorial service was scheduled at Saint Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike (Route 111), Monroe, Friday, April 25, at 11 am.
