VNA Plans Cholesterol Screening

The Visiting Nurse Association of Newtown will hold a free cholesterol screening for Newtown residents ages 55 and above from 10 am to noon on Thursday, May 8, at the Newtown Senior Center on Riverside Road.

The screening, made possible by a grant from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous, is the VNA’s first free screening that includes persons as young as 55. Previously screenings were limited to senior citizens.

Although the screenings are free, registration is required. Call 270-4310 to register.
