BETHEL –– A New Beginning day spa in Stony Hill is holding a fundraiser for Clean Air-Cool Planet during the month of April.

Clean Air-Cool Planet works with businesses, campuses, and communities throughout the Northeast to implement and publicize practical solutions to the problem of climate change. The spa also is selling mini spa services for $5 to assist the fundraiser.

A New Beginning also is selling tagua nut biodiversity awareness bracelets for $1 each. These bracelets are made by the people of Ecuador as a way raising money and preserving and managing the rain forest.

The spa also is encouraging a neighborhood cleanup on Sunday, April 27, to replace the structured Lose the Litter Day, which is no longer held.
