Program On Open Space

SOUTHPORT –– The Fairfield County Farm Bureau will hold a public meeting on Public Act 490 on Monday, April 28, at the Ukrainian Club, 273 Kings Drive.

Public Act 490 provides for preserving open space, agricultural land, and forest land by assessing these lands on the basis of current use rather than on market value. The meeting will explain the act to help those who do not understand the use and value of this land use legislation.
