Philip J. Blake

Philip J. Blake, 43, of Sandy Hook, died April 16 at his home.

He was born in Bridgeport, July 19, 1959, son of the late J. Gordon and Mildred (Danowski) Blake.

He was a graduate of Newtown High School. He was employed as a laborer in the construction industry.

He is survived by his sister, Leslie Brokaw of Sandy Hook; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Edwin.

Cremation will take place at the direction of the family at Charter Oak Crematory, Oxford. Interment will be in St Rose Cemetery, April 26, at 11 am.

There are no calling hours. The Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
