Nutrition For Chronic Fatigue

A free program, “Clinical Nutrition for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome,” will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, April 30, at the Physical Medicine and Wellness Center on Glen Road in Sandy Hook.

The program will be presented by Beatriz Gallagher, a certified nutritionist.

Program participants will learn why metabolism slows down with age. The effect of chemical calories in cells also will be explained.

“This is a new discovery that affects people of any age by disrupting the metabolic rhythm and your ability to lose weight or to keep it off,” Ms Gallagher said. “There is no medicine to restore proper function, [but] by supplying the proper nutrients you may rehabilitate your cells. In this lecture, you will learn what can damage your cells and what helps to heal them.”

Registration for the program is required because space is limited; call 426-6334.
