Mr and Mrs Ryan Thomas Lyddy

Amy Lynn Giannini and Ryan Thomas Lyddy were married on June 15, 2002, at St Rose of Lima Church in Newtown by the Rev Robert Weiss.

A reception followed at the Candlewood Inn in Brookfield.

The bride is the daughter of Duane and Deborah Giannini of Sawmill Ridge Road. The groom is the son of Thomas and Sally Lyddy of Smoke Rise Ridge Road.

The attendants included Allison Giannini and Amanda Giannini, of Newtown, sisters of the bride; Kellie Kyle of Newtown; Erin McClure of Austin, Tex.; Katie Barry of Trumbull and Kara DeFilippo of Bridgeport, sisters of the groom; and Melissa Krusinski of Milford, cousin of the bride.

The best men were Christopher Lyddy and Kyle Lyddy, of Newtown, brothers of the groom.

Ushers included Christopher Barry of Trumbull, brother-in-law of the groom; Jason Bartlett of Fairfield; Joel Brown of Greenwich; Gregg Chiora of Greenwich; Christopher Dolan of Denver, Colo., and John Shannon of Fairfield.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School in 1994 and from Western Connecticut State University. She is a marketing specialist for Kendro Laboratory Products in Newtown.

The groom graduated from Fairfield College Preparatory School in 1993 and from Dean College. He is director of marketing for Homestead Inspections in Newtown.

Following a wedding trip to St Lucia in the West Indies, the couple lives in Brookfield.
