Mary H. Neustrand

Mary H. Neustrand, 91, wife of the late Nils Neustrand of Johnson Drive, Sandy Hook, died Wednesday, April 23, at Ashlar of Newtown.

Mrs Neustrand was born in Czechoslovakia, on August 11, 1911, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Plavecky) Feltovic.

 She was a resident of Sandy Hook for more than 60 years and was a longtime employee of the Sandy Hook Elementary School cafeteria.

She is survived by four daughters, Ann Neustrand of Sandy Hook, Adelaide Ryan of Waxahachie, Tex., Mary Buckner of Denton, Tex., and Joanne Neustrand Smith of Boca Raton, Fla., and one grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 25, at 1 pm in St Rose of Lima Church. Interment will be in St Rose Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
