Michael and Carolyn Mandarano of Newtown announce the birth of their son, Garrett Michael Mandarano, on April 13, at 12:36 am.

Garrett weighed five pounds, 15 ounces, and was 19¾ inches long.

Kevin and Laura Furlotte of Lake Worth, Fla., announce the birth of their son, Jack Shaw Furlotte, on January 12 in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

The paternal grandparents are Judy and Paul Furlotte of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., formerly of Newtown.

Maternal grandparents are Leonard and Rusty Demaio of Wethersfield.
