The Newtown Public Schools Recovery Project has slated its next parent forums, which will be held at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Middle Gate Elementary School, and Newtown Middle School.

Each forum will be presented twice, once during the school day and again in the evening, to allow for maximum participation.

The Sandy Hook School Parent Forum, “Summer Planning To Sustain Your Child’s Progress,” will be held on Monday, April 28. It will be facilitated by Dave Cribbins, LCSW, with Clifford Beers and the Sandy Hook School-based clinician.

The forum will be presented at 2 pm and again at 6 pm. Each one-hour session will be in the school’s Lecture Hall.

The Middle Gate Parent Forum, called “Parenting In Tough Times,” will be on Tuesday, April 29. It will be facilitated by Eileen Donnelly-Phillips, LCSW, with Wellmore Behavioral Health and the Middle Gate based clinician.

The forum will be presented in the school’s library/media center from 9:15 to 10 am, and again from 6 to 7 pm.

The NMS Parent Forum, “How To Parent In A Challenging World,” will be presented on Wednesday, April 30. It will be facilitated by Carol Greeley, LPC, with Wellmore Behavioral Health and middle school based clinician.

The forum will be presented at 9 am and 6 pm, both in the middle school’s Conference Room B-6.
