The Newtown Sunday Slo-Pitch Softball League will begin its season on Sunday, April 29, with games at Dickinson Park and Treadwell Park. The league will open the 2001 season with six teams – Green Tree Service, Hurd Construction, G&H Tools, Botsford Drive In, The Inn of Newtown, and Frank’s Barbers & Stylists.

On Sunday, Green Tree will battle Hurd at 9:15 am and G&H Tools will battle Botsford at 10:30 am at Dickinson Park. The Inn will take on Frank’s at 9:15 am at Treadwell Park.
