Jennie Patavino

Jennie (LaTorre) Patavino, 85, of Milford, died April 15 at St Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport with her loving family by her side. Mrs Patavino was the widow of Alfred (Ace) Patavino.

Survivors include her beloved children, Linda Iassogna and her husband Michael of Newtown, Jane DeFelice and her husband Joseph of Monroe, Margaret Chanaca of Milford, and Cindy Sacramone and her husband Paul of Orange; daughter-in-law, Theresa Paradiso of Monroe; her loving grandchildren, Sharon DeFelice, Heather and Christopher Chanaca, Jennifer and Matthew Iassogna, Emma, Adam, and Luke Sacramone, Michele D’Auria, and Danielle Paradiso; her cherished and loving great-grandchildren, Juliana and Nicholas D’Auria; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Michael Paradiso; one son, Angelo Paradiso; and one brother, Anthony LaTorre.

Born in Mondragone, Italy, on February 2, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Gennaro and Margherita LaTorre, and was a Bridgeport resident for most of her life, moving to Milford five years ago. She was a devoted member of the Milford Senior Citizens.

A funeral service was held April 17 in St Margaret’s Shrine, Park Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
