Fundraising Concert At Westover School

MIDDLEBURY — The Westover Glee Club and six musicians who graduated from Westover School will present a fundraising concert at 4 pm on Sunday, April 25, in the school’s chapel. The concert will benefit the Westover Performing Arts Center, which is currently under construction through extensive renovations to the school’s LBD Student Activities Building.

While at Westover, the alumnae musicians auditioned for and trained with the prestigious music programs of either Westover/Manhattan School of Music or the Westover/Julliard Coordinated Programs.

The solo musicians will include sopranos Marissa Famiglietti (Class of ’00) and Lindsay Krin (Class of ’00), cellist Yoon Sun Choi (Class of ’97), and pianists Sonya Kim (Class of ’94), Farida Paramita (Class of ’97) and Victoria Tzotzkova (Class of ’95).

In addition to solos by alumnae, the 52-member Westover Glee Club will perform movements from Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, accompanied by a string ensemble.

Donations are $25 (Friend),  $50 (Patron), $250 (Sponsor) and $500 (Angel).

For reservations call Jay Szymansky in the Alumnae/Development Office at 203-577-4542.
