DUI Arrest

Police report that at about 1:20 am on April 21, they followed motorist Anthony Bruno, 52, of New Milford, who was traveling 55 miles per hour in a 30-mph zone northward on Main Street and then on Currituck Road, where they stopped him to investigate.

Charges against Bruno include driving under the influence, traveling too fast, and driving without a license, police said. After processing the case, police released Bruno on $40 bail for a May 4 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
