Animal Welfare Society Seeking Tag Sale Items

DANBURY — Spring cleaning? Danbury Animal Welfare Society is looking for donations of household treasures for its upcoming tag sale Friday through Sunday, April 3–May 2. The sale will be at Hatter’s Park Hall, 7 East Hayestown Avenue.

Donated items can be dropped off at Hatter’s Park on Wednesday, April 28, from 10 am to 8 pm, and Thursday, April 28, from 10 am to 6 pm. If possible, prepriced items would be appreciated.

Donated items are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Exercise equipment, furniture, clothes, and computer equipment cannot be accepted.

The sale will begin on Friday, April 30, with a $5 early bird admission from 9:30 to 10 am, and then free admission from 10 am to 3 pm. The event will continue with free admission on Saturday, May 1, and Sunday, May 2, from 10 am to 3 pm.

Danbury Animal Welfare Society is a nonprofit organization currently celebrating 30 years of service of bringing best friends together. The society is the largest and oldest, volunteer operated, no-kill animal shelter in the greater Danbury area.
